Abductor:
Small muscles arising from the back portion of hand and foot and extending to base of little finger or little toe.
Abductor hallucis:
Extends from heel bone to base of big toe.
Abductor pollicis longus:
Extends from muscles and tendons of forearm to base of thumb.
Adductor brevis:
Extends from pubic bone to thighbone.
Adductor hallucis:
Extends from bones of foot to base of big toe.
Adductor longus:
A larger muscle than abductor brevis, arising from the pubic bone and extending to femur.
Adductor magnus:
Extends from pubic bone and ischium to femur.
Adductor pollicis:
Extends from small bones of hand to base of thumb.

Extends from umerus in upper
Aryepiglottic:
From the arytenoid cartilage to the epiglottis, i.e., the structure which closes windpipe when swallowing.

From one arytenoid cartilage to the other.
Auricularis:
Extending from covering membrance of skull to outer ear.
Biceps brachii:
Extends from scapula and humerus in upper arm to bones and tissue of forearm.
Biceps Femoris:
Extends from femur and ischium to fibula and fibrous tissues below knee.

Extends from humerus in upper arm to ulna in forearm.
Brachioradialis:
From humerus in upper arm to radius in the forearm.
Buccinator:
Extends from upper and lower jaw bones to muscles about mouth.
Bulbocarvernosus:
Extends from perineum to penis.
Ciliary:
Extends from membrance around iris to ciliary process of iris in eys.
Coccygeus:
From ischium to coccyx at base of spine.
Constrictor of pharynx:
Extends from cartilages and ligaments of neck to pharynx.
Coraco-brachialis:
From muscles of lower abdomen to pubis.
Cremaster:
From muscles of lower abdomen to pubis.
Cricoarytenoid:
From cricoid cartilages to arytenoid cartilage in neck.
Cricothyroid:
Extends from cricoid cartilage to thyroid cartilage.
Dartos:
Located beneath the skin of scrotum.
Deltoid:
Extends from callarbone and scapula, over the shoulder, to humerus in upper arm.
Diaphragm:
Extends across body nd separates chest cavity from abdomen cavity.
Digastric:
Extends from lower jaw to hyoid cartilage in neck.
Erector clitoris:
From ischium of pelvis to tissues around the clitoris.
Erector penis:

Extends from shoulder blade to upper arm.
Intercostal:
Extend from one rib to another.

Extends from spine and ribs to humerus in upper arm.
Levator ani:
From fibrous tissue and bones of pelvis, it forms a sling and goes to the coccyx and perineum.
Levator scapulae:
Extends from spinal column in neck to shoulder blade.
Lingual:
Extend from base to tip of tongue.
Longissimus:
Extend up back near spine.
Longitudinal of tongue:
Same as lingual muscles.
Longus capitis:
Extends from vertebrae in neck to base of skull.
Longus colli:
Vertebra of neck and chest, up and down spine.
Lumbrical of hands and toes:
Extend from flexor tendons of hands and/or toes to extensor tendons.
Masseter:
Extends from cheekbone to lower jawbone.
Mylohyoid:
Extends from lower jaw to hyoid bone in neck.
Nasalis:
Maxillary bone of face to bridge.
Oblique, abdominal:
Extends from lower ribs to midline of abdomen and pubis.
Oblique of head:
Extends from vertebrae in neck to base of skull.
Oblique of eye:
Extends from orbit to outer membrane of eyeball.
Obturator:
Extends from bones of pubis to femur.

Extends from upper border of shoulder blade to hyoid bone in neck.

Extends from hipbone to tibia in leg.

Ischium to tibia in lg.

Extends from thyroid cartilage to arytenoid cartilage in larynx.
Thyroapiglottis:
Extends from thyroid cartilage to epiglottis.
Thyrohyoid:
Exends from thyroid cartilage to hyoid bone in neck.
Tibialis anterior:
Extends from tibia, in front of leg, down to bones of foot.
Tibialis posterior:
Extends from tibia, and fibula, in back of leg, down to bones of foot.
Trapeius:
A large muscle extending from base of skull and vertebrae in neck to the collarbone, shoulder blade and tip of shoulder.
Triceps brachii:
Extends from upper end of humerus, in upper arm, to ulna bone in forearm.
Vstus:
Extend down entire front of thigh to kneecap and tibia in leg.
